Old and antique clocks need regular servicing if they are to perform their task of keeping time and striking the hours accurately, I have been in the horological trade for more than 30 years and have overhauled and restored thousands of clocks in that time, from the humblest alarm clock to the grandest musical longcase (grandfather) clock.
